The cardboard giraffe

You all know by now that I am studying to become a teacher and as part of a project related to that, I have just come back from making a presentation about non-violent communication (Giraffe language), I made a 1½ meter long cardboard giraffe, two cardboard hearts and lots of signs.

The class enjoyed the cardboard things, it was real reprieve from the standard slide-shows, chalk on blackboard and guy talks for 1 and a ½ hour type of presentations.

The best thing was that it was creative, colorful and green. After I was done I showed the lot in the cardboard recycle bin.

Being green is all about thinking outside of the box.

A great use for a recycled material.
