What is it that only we humans do?

It is a valid question,,,,why are we so unique? How did we rise to the top of the tree or rather the top of the food chain?

I think a lot of people have had their meanings expressed on this topic, but every time an answer is made some one shows that we are not the only mammals doing it or that the claim is totally wrong. I think the first claim that I heard was that we were the only mammal that used tools or that we had bigger brains than everything else,

Chimps use tools, so do dolphins + ants, the brains thing was totally off the mark.

This got me thinking and today I hit upon a eureka moment.

Yes, I thought about trash and guess what? I think we must be the only ones making trash. All the other animals poop, urinate, etc... but they do not make waste mountains that take hundreds if not thousands of years to degrade. They do not burn waste or shove it into lakes, rivers and the sea. What they throw away, gets reintegrated into the eco system, recycled, reused and gets to spawn new life from its remains.

We create trash and rubbish. A product that is unwanted yet created every day by a large proportion of the worlds human population.

In fact in that regard we are totally uniqe. Now isn't that something to be proud off!
