The skull leather shopping bag

This is the skull leather shopping bag it is based on the shopping-bag-design I created the instructions for and posted it on my blog. Here is the link...so you can create some too.

I basically just used one of my old leather jackets that had a giant rip in it, i cut it into a giant rectangle and sewed it into a bag (it is as esy as sewing a cushion, just leave one side open and fold+sew the tops individually). Inside the bag I have used a blue linning fabric and also on the inside of the handle. It looks great because I have kept a lot of the original features of the jacket.

If you use plastic bags you are adding to the landfill problem, oceanic plastic bag dilema, birds eat plastic and die of it and in many countries plastic bags cost money, so they are best avoided.
Create your own, they are sturdy, cool, really cool and handy.

The best thing is that if they get messy, just throw them in the wash and they are clean again. My leather bag is an exception to that rule.
