Save the watt's

It is alright going over to green sources of electricity, but reducing your electricity use is the best way. You don't have to turn everything off, though turning things off is a good thing.

When you are looking for new electrical products choose those that use the least amount of watts to run. You could also choose alternative energy sources for your electrical item.

In the long run you will see a substantial saving in your electricity bill.

The cost of these items might be slightly more expensive than the cheapest items out there. It is a balancing act between the price of the product and the long term savings in drift.

Walk the walk

I have changed my light bulbs from 60w to 1watt. I aim to soon change my computer from a 200 watt to a 6 watt computer and my screen from a 50watt screen to a 25 watt led projector.

Look around, see what the options are, be aware and choose the most efficient option. Buy only the best.
That way you will make a saving and encourage producers from making energy hungry products.
